As Sanford Health grows in size and complexity, our workforce needs continue to increase as well. To meet this demand, Sanford is creating their own Travel RN pool to fill needs in Sioux Falls, Fargo (ND), Bismarck (ND), and various Network facilities located throughout the Dakotas. This new opportunity offers competitive compensation, housing, mileage, per diem for meals, etc
Who can be a travel nurse? This opportunity is open to external candidates as well as current Sanford employees from all regions who have at least one year of experience in a hospital setting.
Is the opportunity considered full-time? Yes, the position is full-time and will work 72-80 hours per two week pay period.
How long is each assignment? Most assignments will be 12 weeks in duration but could be less based on need.
As a Travel RN for Sanford Health, where will I travel? Fargo, ND; Sioux Falls, SD; Bismarck, ND; Sanford Network Facilities to include Chamberlain, SD, Webster, SD, Aberdeen, SD, etc.
Will I be responsible to find my own housing? Housing is provided.

What else do I need to know? Assignment will be to Med / Surg units as well specialty areas to include Critical Care, Emergency Department, Labor & Delivery, etc.

Scheduled work hours will vary dependent on patient and unit needs. This may include overtime, under-time, call, standy-bys, nights, days, weekends and holidays.
Graduation from a NLN or AACN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred. Graduate from an approved nursing program is acceptable. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing strongly preferred. A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required. Currently licensed with the applicable State Nursing Board and/or possess multistate licensure privileges as required by position. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications (i.e. - ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP, etc.). Refer to CRP Clinical pathway and orientation guidelines for further detail. Functions within legal RN scope of practice.
