Job Schedule: Part Time
Hours Per Shift: 8 hr
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) assists in implementing the nursing process throughout the care continuum under the direction of the registered nurse, advanced practice registered nurse, or licensed practitioner. This practice includes dependent and interdependent functions. Applicant will provide care to patients in the need of Medicated Assisted Therapy also known as the MAT clinic. Applicant will need to have a current LPN license, have excellent communication skills with patients while working side by side with MAT clinic providers, RN lead and behavioral health. On the job training and education will be provided. Experience with Medicated Assisted Therapy or a background in the treatment process is preferred. This position does require every other weekend coverage for 4 hours on Saturday and 4 hours on Sunday with potential to increase to 8 hour weekend coverage days and increase in FTE's as program grows.
Must have graduated from a school or college of nursing program leading to licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Associate's degree in practical nursing is preferred. Specific services/positions may have additional education, training or experience requirements. Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical experience across the life span as part of the curriculum or have had a minimum of 400 hours of experience as an LPN at another facility. Requires current licensure as a practical nurse in the state/states of practice.
